Committees:

• President’s Spirit Night

  Met and brainstormed with team on which area of campus should be honored during basketball game, coordinated guest list, worked with events to plan reception before game and ensuring everything was in place for the evening of.

• Celebrate CSUB

  Assisted with planning for Celebrate CSUB, Open House style event, on campus for prospective students and their families — Getting the word out to local media, posting on social media, writing press release and partnering with local morning shows and radio stations to hype up prior to event and captured moments from the day via social media and taking photos.

• Caravan Day

  Planned details for a traveling spirit day through local rural communities around town with other members on campus — A day for sharing more about CSUB with our athletics programs, president and other campus officials. Publicized the event to local media - Sending out press release, highlighting on social media and working with other local committees, booking morning shows, advertisements with local radio stations prior to event. Traveled with the group on the day of for photography and social media captures.

• Hiring Committees
  For Public Affairs and Communications Directors (2016, 2023), Student Recreation Center Marketing Specialist - Sat in on interviews, making notes, asking questions and turning in thoughts to HR.

• Rebrand Study Group

  Gave input, feedback and shared with group about experience at CSUB in order to vote for new branding items, including logo, font, colors.

  Fall and Spring Commencement (2023- Present)

• Create graphics for social media toolkit, posting reminders and announcements for students graduating and their families, provide any input for ceremony, capture social media during fall and spring ceremonies.

  CSUB Brand Ambassador

  • Graduated from program of training to follow brand guidelines (including videography/photography, writing/editing and other items pertaining to CSUB brand) and presenter for CSUB social media guidelines and standard practices with social media and content creation.

    The Runner 50th Anniversary

  • Along with past faculty and alumni, helped plan events, content for newspaper with present staff throughout the year-long celebration.

• CSUB Staff and Faculty Initiative Champion

  Encouraging others around campus to give to the Staff and Faculty Initiative that helps with various areas on campus, used as a reference to point people in the right direction to give.
