When in Rome by Sarah Adams
“Practice Makes Perfect” by Sarah Adams ✨
Sarah Adams’ worlds are my happy place. I’ve read and reread all of her books multiple times. It has been incredible to watch her career blossom and grow into what it is now, from independent author to having a publishing deal.
This storyline is sweet as pie 🥧
The characters are swoony ✨
Grumpy 😠 vs sunshine ☀️
Audrey Hepburn vibes 🎬
Pop star and the pie baker 👩❤️👨
Stars Hollow type town with quirky lovable characters that will make you want to visit again and again.
Mr. Wrong Number by Lynn Painter
I adore Lynn Painter’s books! 💕✨
Her writing is smart, witty and fresh. It feels like the same pacing as an episode of Gilmore girls which I love.
While the other two books of hers I’ve read “Better Than the Movies” and “Do-Over” are more of a young adult/ John Hughes, 80’s feel, this is more adult romcom.
I’m a sucker for the brother’s best friend trope, but there’s a bit of a twist with this one that doesn’t make it feel like the usual between those characters.
I couldn’t put this one down, even though I had to… because adulting. Such a fun, sweet read!
Can’t wait to see what Lynn Painter does next!
Who else has read her books? Do you have a favorite?

My Phony Valentine by Courtney Walsh
“My Phony Valentine” by Courtney Walsh ✨
Courtney Walsh can do no wrong. She’s a prolific storyteller, diving into different worlds and taking on different personas as she releases new books.
Her last few books have really shown her growth as a writer. She was excellent before but she’s escalated to brilliant.
Her writing is a bit sassy, sarcastic, honest and the dialogue feels so very realistic. Her leading men are swoony, classic guys that make you feel giddy but is built on a real foundation.
This is one I’ve read multiple times and consider a comfort read 💕
